I wanted to give you a guys a quick (what am I talking about, it’s not going to be quick at all) overview of my experience at Playlist Live 2012. First of all, it was the most amazing weekend of my life. I’m on cloud nine. No one understands (besides you all on tumblr, of course!) how much it MEANS to meet these Youtubers who inspire you every day. It was incredible. I have pictures and videos that I’ll be posting, but I wanted to type out my incidents with four certain people.

DAN AND PHIL. Obviously, they’re gorgeous. But in person….holy shit. PERFECTION. And they’re freaking TALL. Especially Dan. Dan is a giant. Which makes him even more perfect and unachievable. His height made him look like some sort of Greek god compared to us itty bitty mortal teenage girls. People who want to get technical might say, “God, Sarah, they weren’t THAT tall”, but to me, they were. I imagined them to be short for some reason.

Moving away now from the issue of height (did I make it obvious enough how amazed I was at that?).  After their performance on stage, I went out into the hallway and saw them standing at the end of the hall. Of course, there was also a line of girls. So Dan and Phil are hugging people and taking pictures, so I beeline the fuck over there. AND I WAS SOOO CLOSE. There was one girl in line in front of me when the Playlist employees came and shooed us away, telling us to wait until the official meet-up. *blood boiling*

So I go to the official meet-up, which was in the afternoon. Luckily, I was near the front of the line to meet them. Their line was HUGE. But at this point, I’m freaking out and about to have a heart attack from being so nervous. So I get up there, and Dan and Phil are sitting behind their little table, and I ask if I can hug them *facepalm at my awkwardness*. They said, “of course you can, get that sweet ass over here” (minor exaggeration), so I GOT TO HUG THEM. I HUGGED DAN AND PHIL. And Phil told me that I was really good at giving hugs. I would like to point out that Kassemg and Toby also complimented my hugging skills. So, yeah.

Anyway, I got my picture with Dan and Phil (I casually half climbed onto the table to get as close as possible. After that, I just started leaping on tables like a boss) and I got a video of them wishing me an early happy birthday.  SO MUCH HAPPINESS.

The second thing I want to talk about is Destery and Nate. ESPECIALLY DESTERY, OH MY FUCK. I loved Destery before, but I think I literally fell in love with him on Saturday. I went to the meet-up (third in line baby!) and I got to hug both of them, get a picture, and a video of Destery wishing me a happy early birthday.  Side-note: I saw them later on the floor below me, so I leaned over the railing and shouted “Aye-o Destery!” and then ducked as they started to turn around. I’m really mature.

The best part is, at the end of the night, Destery and Nate put on a concert for us. They did like techno/dubstep remixes of a bunch of songs, especially 90’s songs hahaha. And they were SO into it. Destery did most of the deejaying (am I lame for spelling that out?) and, I gotta tell you, he was fucking SEXY. He kept biting and licking his lips, and mouthing along to the words, and just focusing so hard on the music. UNF. Just unf. UNFFF. They were amazing. For the last few songs, they actually made everyone come up on stage and dance. So I, of course, get my butt as close to Destery as possible *see video* and it was just so much fun. I got multiple high fives from both of them. And then after they were done, I hugged Destery while he was all sweaty, which I did not mind AT ALL. Unff.

So those were the two stories I specifically wanted to tell you guys.  I’m going to just stop now because this post is way too long. But, seriously, it was the most amazing weekend of my life. I got to meet so many Youtubers….it was incredible. Now, time to spam you guys with all of my pictures and videos, w00t w00t!

I just realized that Playlist Live is THIS WEEKEND. THIS WEEKEND.

….and excited, obviously. But I always get nervous before major events such as this. I really really really hope it’s as amazing as I want it to be….God I hope I get to meet Dan, Phil, Destery, and Nate. AT LEAST THEM. PLEASE.

How the eff does Playlist Live even work? Do you just stand in line to meet people? Because I WILL stand in line. I am the standing in line master. And since I’m going by myself *quick crying break because I’m alone*, no one can stop me from arriving as early as fucking possible. At concerts, my friends are always like, “Sarah, the concert is at 7, why would we get in line at 10 in the morning?” BECAUSE YOU MUST, and it is the same case for Playlist Live.

Holy shit, I’m flipping out. Who’s going to take my picture with these people? I HAVE NO FRIENDS OMG WHAT THE FUCK. 

This text post got WAY out of hand. My point is, I’m excited. And scared. GAHHHHHHH. HELP ME SO I DON’T DIE.

I get to meet Destery. And Nate. And Dan. And Phil. And KassemG. And Willofdc. And Jenna Marbles. And a bunch of other people whose videos I am about to go watch so that I can be properly prepared.

….too bad no one I know is going. I’ll have to be the creepy fangirl who walks around all by herself.
